Our Sawmill
High Cascade and WKO is headquartered in Carson, Washington. The
family-owned-and-operated company has been in business for ,more
than 40 years and has roots deeply established in the Northwest. As
farmers and ranchers, we have a strong understanding of crop
management and grasp the importance of good harvesting procedures.
As loggers, sawmill, planer mill operators, and veneer mill
operators, we understand the importance of promoting and protecting
the integrity of a renewable resource–timber. |

Our Staff
Our sales staff of Brad Buhman and Scott Griswold have more than 57
years experience working with our customers to supply their needs,
shipping times, special requests, and develop long-term
relationships so important to this industry. In
addition, Susan York is our traffic
and accounts specialist who organizes our truck shipments from our
veneer mill in Home Valley, Washington, on the Burlington
Northern/Santa Fe Railway. |
High Quality
Lumber & Timber
High Cascade is a state-of-the-art sawmill, planing mill,
and kiln drying (KD) facility, specializing in high quality
dimension lumber. We are located 50 miles east of Portland, Oregon,
along the Columbia River, in the heart of the Cascade Range. Our
annual production of 100 million board feet consists of 50% Douglas
Fir and 50% White Fir Dimension. With more than 25 years
of providing kiln dried dimension lumber, High Cascade has the
experience and the proven record of supplying the quality KD
finished products our customers desire. |
